TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any work undertaken by
itypelive is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
Unless specifically
requested by the client, all invoices will be issued at the end of each calendar
month. Payment is due strictly 14 days from the date of the invoice unless otherwise
stated.
Expenses - postage, courier fees, etc, where applicable, will
be charged to the client. It is not the responsibility of itypelive to insure
or guarantee CDs or any other media/docments sent to us. We recommend that you
retain a copy of any recording as itypelive cannot accept liability for any loss
or damage, no matter how caused whilst CDs/media/documents are in our possession,
in transit, or whilst you are transporting them to us.
We reserve the
right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% above the Bank of
England base rate on the outstanding balance from the date of the invoice until
the date of payment.
Clients will be charged according to the current
rates shown on the website at the time work is commissioned. itypelive reserves
the right to add additional charges for extra time taken to transcribe poor recording.
The client will be notified and given the choice to either cancel or for us to
complete the transcription.
Final proof reading and editing will remain
the responsibility of the client.
Any errors or omissions brought to
our attention within 24 hours of receipt will be amended free of charge. Any other
additions or amendments made by the client will be charged.
itypelive,
either directly or indirectly, will not use nor communicate any confidential client
information for any purpose other than that required for the fulfilment of that
client's secretarial services or such services as have been agreed with the client,
without the prior consent of the client.
Force Majeure - in the event
of circumstances preventing the completion or delivery of any work submitted by
the client, itypelive will be entitled to give the client notice of suspension
or cancellation of the work involved without penalty. Circumstances beyond our
control include acts of God, fire, accidents, loss of power, failure of equipment
or disruption to Internet access.
